Gwilym on tour in Europe, US and Canada with “An Evening with Pat Metheny”

Gwilym will be back on tour with jazz legend guitarist Pat Metheny.  The quartet includes Pat, Gwilym,  Linda Oh (bass) and Antonio Sanchez (drums).  The concert is called “An Evening with Pat Metheny” and features  many of the great classics from the Pat Metheny Real Book. Do check the dates for more information. Gwilym to play on BBC Radio 3 on 24th March as part of the Debussy celebrations

Julian Joseph will present Gwilym’s jazz influenced version of Debussy’s Children’s Corner Suite specially arranged for piano, saxophone and string quartet.  The piece was recorded at the BBC’s studios in Salford and features Simmy Singh (violin), Lucy McKay (violin), Francesca Gilbert (viola), Rachel Shakespeare (cello), Rob Buckland (soprano and tenor saxes) and Gwilym Simcock on grand piano.
