Gwilym’s trio with Mike and Hermine will be on tour in October in the North of England. The two founder members of the much loved group “The Impossible Gentlemen” have established a unique rapport through their love of music of all kinds from rock to classical, jazz and folk. They met Hermine Deurloo at Ambleside Festival in 2019 and found an instant musical rapport.

To mark the 40th anniversary of the government’s Music and Dance Scheme (MDS), young musicians from the UK’s five specialist music schools release the results of an unprecedented collaboration, written and performed during lockdown.
Gwilym demonstrates that music has no boundaries as he explores sounds ranging from suspended choral harmonies by Eric Whitacre and celestial spirals on the harp, to a rarely heard piano quartet by William Walton and three intriguing minutes from Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla. Plus two very different sides of JS Bach and an irresistible Russian waltz.
