Gwilym will be playing a series of solo piano concerts in the US and Canada starting 23rd June
Gwilym starts a short solo tour of the US and Canada beginning at Rochester Jazz Festival and ending at Montreal Jazz Festival. In between he will visit Ann Arbor, Michigan, Cleveland, Ohio and Toledo, Ohio. You can also catch him playing solo in the UK in September at the Kenilworth Festival in September.

Gwilym on tour in Europe and US with “An Evening with Pat Metheny”

Gwilym will be playing some concerts this Spring with fabulous violinist Thomas Gould.
Hear them in Manchester, London, Bradford on Avon and Hull.
Thomas Gould and Gwilym will play an eclectic mix of Bach, arranged as only Gwilym can, alongside more contemporary jazz pieces. In Manchester they will be appearing at the new Stoller Hall at Chetham’s School of music with Salford guitarist Mike Walker with whom Gwilym plays in The Impossible Gentlemen. In London these three musicians will be joined by bassist Martin Berauer and percussionist Bernhard Schimpelsberger at Thom’s old school UCS in Hampstead. Check Tour dates for details.
Gwilym will be on tour with guitarist Wolfgang Muthspiel, trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire, bassist Scott Colley and drummer Brian Blade promoting Wolfgang’s latest release with ECM Records “Rising Grace”. The tour starts in late February in San Francisco and New York and then heads to London, Vienna, Hamburg, Luxembourg and Essen.
Gwilym will be on BBC Radio 4 on Sunday 22nd January at 4 p.m. talking about his latest project “Birdsong” with Welsh singer songwriter Kizzy Crawford. Kizzy Crawford returns to the RSPB nature reserve at Carngafallt in Mid Wales, where she was inspired to create “Can Yr Adar – Birdsong” with Gwilym and members of Sinfonia Cymru. Read More
As part of the BBC Radio 3‘s 70th anniversary Gwilym was chosen to appear on “Composer of the Week” in a live show that was broadcast from the pop up booth at the Royal Festival Hall at London’s Southbank Centre. Find out more here.
Gwilym will be appearing at Shoreditch Town Hall on 15th November with the fabulous vocal group BLINQ as part of The London Jazz Festival with Brendan Reilly, Liane Carroll, Ian Shaw, and Natalie Williams. This will be their first London appearance outside Ronnie Scott’s and is guaranteed to be a really fun evening of vocal bravado and joyous harmony. Read More
