As part of its Bicentenary celebrations, the Academy has invited 200 composers to write 200 new works for solo instrument or voice.

The recordings and scores for these works are now available, creating a new library of varied contemporary works by many of the world’s leading composers of which Gwilym is one.

Gwilym’s piece Prayer for the Senses specially written for fellow RAM alumnus cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason is a contemporary classical work demonstrating the breadth of Gwilym’s composing talent.
